Our Story
We are Crazy Collars. A small business based in North Brisbane QLD.
Our Crazy journey began 15 years ago with a very special dog named Frankie.
Like many pets, Frankie needed a recovery collar early in life — and back then, the dreaded plastic cone was the only option. If you’ve ever put one on your pet, you know the feeling:
- Guilt
- Frustration
- The heartbreak of watching them bump into furniture
- Unable to eat or drink or play
- They lose confidence in their daily routine
We knew there had to be a better way, something different.
We started experimenting — tweaking the design until the very first Crazy Collar was born.
Frankie’s Crazy Collar was different and thoughtfully designed.

- Frankie could eat, drink, play, sleep comfortably
- Stay safe and protected
- We felt confident knowing Frankie was protected without being distressed
The fabric-covered disc with an elastic neck band made it easy to fit, simple to take on and off, and gentle enough for everyday wear.
As the years went on, Frankie developed allergies, and the Crazy Collar became a regular part of her life. Friends, family, and even other pets noticed the difference. No more hard plastic scraping walls or furniture. No more pets being scared of each other. Playtime was back on!
Life gets busy, and we kept thinking: why shouldn’t other cats and small dogs experience this comfort too? So, after years of refining the idea, we decided to share it.
We made Crazy Collars for friends to try, and the feedback was overwhelming. One groomer friend even told us she uses them to help with grooming — a bonus we hadn’t expected!
Sadly we lost our baby girl, Frankie in Oct 2025. She was such a huge part of our lives but with Crazy Collars she is still with us.
